Our story

Matchspace began in 2019 when our founder was looking for somewhere to take cello lessons on his way home from work and realised there was no efficient way to find what he was looking for. Talking to friends who wanted to take music lessons, parents who were looking for music lessons for their children and lots of music professionals who were looking for more freedom in how, where and when they taught, confirmed him in his idea of building a platform to solve these needs. His vision was born: to make the best possible platform to bring people together to share and develop their talents and to make a difference in the world of personal development. In spring 2020, the website and application were built, and the first music teachers listed their lessons on the platform. The rest of the story is yet to be written. You can help us write it 😉
